Cities of Mauritania Bucket List

Visit Nouakchott, the capital and largest city of Mauritania. Explore the Port de Pêche (one of West Africa's largest fishing ports, bustling with traditional wooden pirogues), see the Grande Mosquée (a modern mosque with a striking minaret and Islamic architecture), browse the Marché Capitale (a vibrant market offering local crafts, textiles, and spices), and visit the National Museum (showcasing Mauritanian history, archaeology, and cultural artifacts).
